Am I crazy?
I sold my 116619lb late last year and really, REALLY regret it. Adding is not really an option right now so a few watches have to go.
I have all three ceramic GMT's (LN, BLNR, BLRO). I think I could get close to $45k if I sold all three to fund the WG Sub and possibly even add a Bluesy. I'm pretty confident that my AD could get me a SS BLRO relatively quickly if I wanted to add it back. Just don't want to regret my decision on selling the BLNR and LN. Also have both Exp. II's, SD4k, SD43, 114060 and 116610lv. I have constant thoughts about rearranging the collection and going all dive watches, or selling everything for 3 solid gold pieces, or trying to find the perfect dive, gmt, chrono combo. What should I do? Sell a few watches? Keep what I have and wait to add the WG Sub (could be a year or two)? Keep what I have and try to avoid the urge to add more? The struggle is real |

Don't hold onto the BLNR and LN GMT purely because they've been discontinued. Hold onto either only if you actually like and wear them.
With that said, buy what you'll wear and enjoy the most. If moving the BLNR and LN gets you there, do it. However, I wouldn't sell your current SS BLRO assuming your AD will get you another. They shouldn't be funding your hobby. But, that risk is up to them. If you sell that one then it's best to assume they won't replenish you. You might be crazy but I can't help you there. |

i would sell those 3 and get the watch you miss back, especially since you can add something like a bluesy as well. smurf + bluesy is a great combo. it's a pretty good time to take advantage of some of the grey prices and upgrade

I'd get the Sub but keep the BLRO, not sure if your AD should be selling you one again for his and his franchise's sake. Sell some of the others.

I'd keep the LN and BLNR for now. Sell the blro and one of the explorers or subs. That should get you to the 116619....
I much prefer quality over quantity when it comes to watches. If I were in you're situation I'd probably sell (almost) everything to get to: Platona SD4K (you have) And either a WG or RG gmt 2 That would be the perfect land, sea, air collection I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would add the 619 and not sell any in your current line up

I'd sell anyone of those or a combination to get the 116619LB back, beginning with the BLNR, the hype is still going

I sold/traded all my SS for gold. I prefer to have fewer PM watches than a lot of SS. Bring the smurf back.

That’s why I never sell. I just add. Down the road you’ll want to wear one again, once in a while. I still have mine from 25 years ago.

Less is more. A collection is defined just as much by what is not in it as by what is.

What are you chasing, if anything? I was chasing a polar for years and tried to substitute it with many pieces. Did the same with a sub. Once I threw down the cash and added both, I felt content.
Then I rounded it out with adding a speedy and reverso. After that, I’ve only subtracted from the lot. Haven’t added in years. I’m down to the pieces I really like now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would ditch the BLNR and LN for sure (keep BLRO)
SD4k, SD43, 114060 and 116610lv - I appreciate it’s a nice diving collection but if getting white Sub are these really going to get wrist time? Too many nice watches for duplicates, hence why I consolidated |

I think the best deals going now are on the PM pieces, I just don’t really like how they look on me or the attention they bring.
