Russia Availability?

Hi all,

I’ve seen a few of these availability threads pop up recently, but nothing about Russia.

I’m leaving for Moscow & St. Petersburg in a couple months for vacation. From the research I’ve done it seems there are significantly more ADs in Moscow. Anyone have experience when it comes to pricing/VAT and availability? I’m sure SS is non-exist there like I’ve seen in the rest of the world. I’m planning on calling a few of the ADs next week to inquire on some pieces.

I’ll be stopping by the AP boutique there as well, since we don’t have one here in Dallas. Hopefully I can find a SS Royal Oak. I was told all the color dials besides blue are “obtainable”. Wonder what discounts are possible with AP?

I live in russia. few things to know about local market.
1) there is only one AD here, chain of multiple boutiques called Mercury. No SS models obviously. And even if you can find one (lets imagine), retail here is equal to grey market price. They officially sell Pepsi for ~18.5k USD, Daytona ~22.5k USD. Hulk 11k USD etc. no price regulation on worldwide known retail at all... so basically buying hot models in russia from AD doesn't make any sense due to funny pricing policy.
2) Royal Oak blue dial has 3 years waiting list, other colors also not available for walk in customers. For other colors their policy is that they take your phone number (no list) and maybe later on you will get a call. or not... thats for locals, don't think they will even entertain tourists.

Thanks for the heads up! Heading there next week so I’ll be sure to post my findings and thoughts. I’ll still swing by the ADs to check out the in stock inventory.
