Explorer I MK1 or Milgauss black non GV ?

What would be your choice by similiar price range - Exp 1 MK1 or Milgauss black non GV (both used). No wish to go higher with the budget. Wrist 6,5". Count on people who own today or in the past both models (ideal if worn with suit as well). Thanks for opinions.

I prefer the Explorer as the watch looks great on the bracelet but works well with both leather and NATO straps.

I think the Milgauss has a certain cool/quirky factor to it.

I have owned both the black Milgauss non GV and the Explorer 39 MKI. Before Basel this year I visited my AD and asked to be put on the wait list if Rolex came out with a new cased Milgauss. I would wear my Milgauss during the week and over the weekend my wrist would hurt like it had been bruised. I could not get that watch to fit comfortably. I ended up trading it as a result. I still think it is an awesome looking watch and would still have it in my collection if it was comfortable to wear.

Conversely my Explorer was my daily for the first six months that I owned it before the honeymoon wore off. It is now in my rotation and I wear it whenever I want. It works with a suit and with jeans equally well. This is the one I would get, it is more versatile and more comfortable for me.
