Not sure, but do beware of artificially inflated asking prices.

I have and it’s been very successful...I’ve only bought off dealers and not private sellers so don’t know how that would go....you pay the cash to Chrono24 who hold the payment until you have received the watch and are happy with the watch. It’s only then that they release the cash to the seller.....I recently bought a brand new Sub date and all went exactly as I’d hoped. The seller had 12 reviews from buyers from various parts of the world. I would buy through chrono24 again no probs.

This - just make sure you use the chrono 24 escrow payment and all should be good. If they are trustworthy they should accept payment via these means. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I bought my Pelagos through there from a private seller. BUT it worked out in my favor that he was in the same state as I am, so I felt I had better options if something went South.
The only headaches were that my bank wouldn't guarantee my purchase since the money was still being sent out of the country first. But I felt the escrow option make it ok. And there was an extra fee for the wire transfer. All in all, I would definitely do it again. But would still only buy from someone in my country. |

Sellers on chrono24 are just like sellers anywhere else. Some have tons of reviews and solid rep others have no history or bad history. Just have to do your research, ask questions, call the seller and if you’re comfortable after checking their reviews pull the trigger. Buy the seller!

Bad experiences with Chrono24. Twice I tried to buy from a private seller on Chrono24. No response on messages and when I sent in an offer, that was not handled or got declined without any comment. Not a good platform for private sellers. Chrono24 private seller fee is high (€ 300) and with trusted check out the seller has to wait a long time for the money, until shipping period and return policy period has expired. Too risky for disputes I guess for non professional sellers.
