Err buddy Richard...the Seller would seem to be solid...
having a good FB history in eBay... The Seller also offers unconditional return policy... which a US buyer can rely on... Orchi has bought from this Seller before...but for vintage Rolex boxes... that arrived in good order. Nevertheless...you may want to take a closer look at the movement here... at the 1680 Sub watch being listed...for a possible flaw...which might have been fixed by the Seller's own in-house watchmakers... If you notice the edge of the frame next to the "RED" wheel... there exist the abrasion mark...which had been caused by the winding rotor blade...due to a faulty rotor shaft axis...before. It would be nice if the Seller could post more pictures of the items in their eBay listings... As it is...there is no pictures of the clasps/buckle...bracelet links to see if the conditions are good or not... The Oyster case had since been RE-Polished...though not too heavily... it has lost the original factory bevel edges...n appeal to some purist collectors... The rest of the watch as seen in those pictures posted...looks to be alright. The end bid price may be attractive on this one...judging from the weak resale market...currently. Good luck buddy...! |

Thanks Orchi and Terry,
I am just trying to learn. Orchi, I didn't notice the abrasion next to the red wheel!! Very good catch. If this was repaired, is it a problem or do you believe the repair would have fixed the issue? Thanks again for the excellent advice and input! Richard
