Tough one for me. Patek Calatrava, Sub or Ex 2 polar.

It's just never going to happen, so there's no use even considering the possibility.
Well, I just thought of a possible scenario where that might happen. If the time comes that I have to go into a nursing home, headed for the last round up, I'd probably pick one of my Bambinos or maybe a Seiko 5. It's sad to say, but a Rolex in a nursing home is probably not the best choice.

My turn: If I had to get rid of my entire collection, I'd either keep my 1601. I wore it on my wedding day, which has been the happiest day of my life. If I could quantify the definition of "pride" in a 24hr period, it would be then, and I had my DJ on my wrist the entire time. Well, not the *ahem* entire time. |

If you could only keep one of your watches, which would it be?
This is a tough one to answer without context- think it would depend heavily on the situation leading up to the decision:
1) Zombie apocalypse- the 114060 or my citizen pmd56; depends on if I have the time to get the safe. Accuracy is important, but in a post - apocalyptic world Rolex will become the generally accepted form of currency. 2) Forced evacuation - the BLRO; cause if you you only have the shirt on your back to your name, you may as well look good. Plus, I could probably use the comfort at that point. 3) Personal financial disaster- the Omega Railmaster. Understated style, flies low enough below the radar, but it’s still an Omega, cause a WIS still has to have some self respect. 4) Lose my faculties and become a “1 watch” guy. The Zenith el primero. Just because it’s so different from everything else I have owned, and so uniquely classy. Plus I could use see the chronograph to time my next watch purchase.... There, I have a situation for all of them.

If I was to liquidate my collection and keep just one watch, it'd be my 2005 PO2500C XL and its original three straps: the SS bracelet with a milled clasp ahead of its time, the heavy duty pin and buckle rubber strap and the classic dark brown croc strap on deployant.
It was my single watch for many years and I would go back to that if push comes to shove. I wouldn't need anything else, really. |

I gave this some thought a few weeks ago and concluded I would hang on to the LVc aka Hulk. This watch just makes me more happy than the rest. Hopefully a while yet until I have to choose. Cheers!

If the time come my first ever Rolex would be my last ever Rolex. Everything in between doesn’t mean anything to me anymore. The day I pickup my Daytona I was extremely excited, happy, proud, nervous and little of guilt for spending $12k on the watch. I came from very humble beginning and earned my money with sweat, blood and stress. I don’t just buy lavishly without spending a good amount of thoughts into it. I still am the same even though I live a much comfortable life today.
