Is it safe...

To use your Rolex to tell time while enjoying it on Memorial Day weekend? What about if one is manning the grill and cooking while it’s on the wrist? Will I need to send it in to get serviced if I get marinade on it? How about if I’m laughing heartily and therefore it is moving around and being subject on vibrations or quick directional changes because I’m gesticulating while speaking? Happy Memorial Day weekend all.

It is unsafe !

The reason ......

You clearly are terribly worried about wearing it and you are not wrong to do so.

You will be looking at your watch so much that you will probably let your mind wander .... A shockingly terrible thing to do.

You may well, more than a slight possibility, forget what you are doing and overlook the steaks.

I like mine rare please.

Whilst I am eating my steak I will stare at my Day-Date and get mesmerised by its beauty.
I will try and remember to swallow each mouthful.

You see .... Wearing a Rolex can cause all manner of dangers and challenges to a human.

Probably not. It's the reason I'll be wearing a Seiko

I went cycling with my ExpII the other day and briefly considered the consequences if anything should break or I should have an fall. I went with the conclusion that wearing a Rolex and the feeling of ownership far outweigh the risks of using them everyday.

I was panicking earlier when I realized I needed to grill. I put it back in its box and then pushed it into the safe. Better “safe” then sorry!

Curious if the OP writes his own material. I haven't stopped laughing since I read this and I fear I might never catch my breath.
