FS- Rolex 14060 U Serial Submariner No Date Rare Tritinova 2 Liner Holes Sub Near Min

For sale is a near mint condition stainless steel 40mm Rolex Submariner No Date. The U,727,000 serial 14060, was originally purchased from an ORJ in 1999, and comes with papers and manuals. Included in the papers and manuals set are, the original warranty paper, instruction manuals, factory service manuals, serialized hang tag, Rolex hang tag, and a paper holder sleeve. The Rolex features a brushed steel case with polished sides and a unidirectional black divers bezel. The Submariner is mounted on a brushed steel Oyster bracelet with a folding safety lock deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 10 full size Oyster links, plus an extra link which is not currently installed, and will comfortably fit up to a 7½ inch wrist. The Rolex features a black “tritinova” dial with white gold surround luminova hour markers and white gold luminova coated hands. The movement used in the 14060 is the Rolex calibre 3000 which features 42 hours of power reserve. It is worth noting that the factory “tritinova” dial which is mounted on the Sub is a true rarity, as Rolex watches with these dials are rarely up for sale. The dial is clearly marked tritium, however during production Rolex applied Super-LumiNova hour markers, hands, and bezel insert (hence the name Tritinova). There have been a few other documented examples of Rolexes with these dials which were produced during an extremely small window during Rolex’s transition from tritium to Luminova luminescence. Condition wise the Submariner is in near mint condition with the only imperfections being a nick in the bezel insert at 50 and a tiny mark on the edge of the crystal between 1 and 2 o’clock which is barely visible to the naked eye. The lugs on the Submariner are very crisp and the chamfers are very sharp. Prior to listing the Rolex passed an accuracy and pressure test and is keeping time within Rolex specifications.
Shall deliver with a 15 month in house warranty on the movement for $7,450 or best offer.
