About 10 years ago the valuation of the 3x8 took off but the price has been stable for many years. I have mine for 20+ years and rather have it over a classic SS Daytona, I bought it as a toy to full fill a dream when I was a kid. Life is best when it's balance and not everything you own has to be an investment LOL. It's a hobby just like Rolex. I maintained my own car doing timing belt and such so that's why the reason for factory technical manuals.
I think a Porsche 911 is worth more than a Ferrari 308 of the same vintage (same year/condition)? |

Man... what’s the routine like to keep her running? Seems like it’s kept relatively static.

Shhhh.... Keep it down! I don’t want them to start appreciating until after I get one! [This is the part where I downplay them to detract others] They have horrible pedal and steering wheel offset, (especially RHD versions where I come from,) major rust issues are common and extremely poor ergonomics. All you collector types should just stay away. :-) P.S. More pictures would be nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Fairly easy, I can say I have an advance knowledge regarding mechanics but it’s pretty straight forward since you can do all the work from your garage. No computers no special service at authorized dealers. The dream of someone that appreciates cars for what they are and are able to work on them on their own.

I know exactly what you meant, I remember asking my wife if I could buy a 288 GTO instead of another house, she said I already have one...The house triples in price, the GTO increases by 8 times
