Used GMT with open name line?
Just curious. Obviously it’s worth more as you can write the name in warranty card! I’m looking at a stainless black GMT discontinued model. It has an open name and date.
Anything to be cautious of? |

the more information on the card, the less likely to be a counterfeit or gray market watch. at a minimum it should have the AD stamp and preferably date. But I've seen some older cards not have the name filled out, for example when purchased as a gift for someone else.

Are people really willing to pay more just to write their name on the card?

It doesn't matter what is in the name line. They are supposed to write any name there or just write XXXXX and not leave it blank. The name on the card is not tied to the watch.

Right I guess what is confusing to me is date, name and city are all blank. Never seen one like it before.
