Pelagos incoming!!

I traded my 116710LN GMT for a Blue Pelagos this week! I had the GMT for almost 5 years and I liked it a lot but I grew a bit tired of the shininess of it and craved something with more of a pure “tool watch” feel if that makes sense.

The size of the Pelagos is taking some getting used to but I love it. This is my first Tudor and I’m highly impressed.

One of my absolute favorite Tudors! I got my North Flag last year and can tell you that you won’t be disappointed with the Tudor in-house movement.

Congrats and enjoy!!

A Blue Pelagos is my next watch. It'll be my third Tudor along with my 5 four and five digit Rolex.

With the nonsense of trying to get a new SS Rolex, I'm more and more enjoying the Tudor brand.

Yes the blue was way too bright for me too, along with its super white lume. And that was just inside the store, not even out in the sun.

The LHD decided on had to be ordered, but Ben Bridge got it in within a few days from their Seattle store.

I can hardly take it off since it came in months ago.

Congrats, the blue is a stunner!

The Pelagos is indeed a great watch: the ridiculously strong lume (and lumed bezel), rifle-bolt-crisp bezel action, quick-adjust clasp, super accurate in-house movement. An all around amazing piece!

The Pelagos is awesome. You'll get used to the size. I eventually sold my SubC because I was reaching for Pelagos almost every time, and when I did wear the SubC I was consistently underwhelmed by the thin bracelet and awkward lug to bracelet transition. I eventually sold it, so be warned, you might find you have a preference for larger watches after this.

Tried one on and it is definitely lighter despite the size. Love the titanium, the finish, the solid bracelet/clasp, and the lume. Congratulations on the new acquisition! Wear in good health!

SOLID—congrats on such a great pickup! Love the blue and would love to be able to pull it off but unfortunately it’s just too large for my wrist. Every time I see one in the case I’m tempted to try again (that blue!) but when I do it’s a quick reminder that it doesn’t work...

Enjoy it!

I have mine for almost a year now and I just can't take off my eyes of that Matte Blue.
Excellent trade OP and you'll enjoy it more the GMT especially in the summer.

I just tried a Blue Pelagos on at an AD yesterday and love the way it looks, the lightness of the titanium, and the great feel of the bezel. It is right on the border of too big for me but I am thinking about it. Congrats on a beauty.

It’s right on the border of too big for me too. Honestly if I had tried one on prior to buying, I probably wouldn’t have ended up getting one because when I first put it on my wrist I didn’t like the size and the way it “rides” my wrist. After wearing it for a few days though I’m really starting to love it. Switching between different sizes watches takes a little getting used to.
