Day-Date Deluge - Answers & more pics

Thanks 1M for all the gracious commentary - I’ll turn over now, so y’all can butter the other side! Because the 36mm DDs are not seen so often here, I didn’t know whether there would be much interest. The green Stella is the #1 choice by a mile, tho I’d bet the red/orange is handicapped only by poor lighting and placement. I’ll attach some pics relevant to inquiries (and/or ones that I just like!)

This was second most popular choice I think, and it is one of my favorites too. It’s probably the crispest 4-digit in the bunch, a 1965 Wide Boy, presumably a (former) safe queen.

You have an unbelievably cool collection!

The bottom left isn’t black, it’s blue.

There are two Florentines, the Morelli ‘brick’ bracelet and the bottom right President bracelet. Y’all are pretty sharp, a few people noticed the WG bark, it’s an uncommon 18249 reference.

You are so right - Tho it’s funny, I read “doorstop” in your post and I thought “I’m pretty sure that doesn’t have doorstop markers ...” Interesting how a hobby can even change how we see some words.

The huge variety of dials, hands, markers, bracelets, decorations, etc. is much of the appeal of the DDs for me. (Also, being aware of my own OCD tendencies when it comes to collecting, I knew I needed a pretty narrow focus, or I’d spend myself into the poorhouse!) To my eye, there are some painful vacancies - So, if anyone feels the urge to reward my focused and disciplined passion by selling me any ‘stone’ (e.g. malachite, or lapis, or coral, or especially tiger eye) DDs or factory dials at a tolerable number, feel free!

And now, the pics -
