Servicing a watch
Is there any easy way to figure out if a watch has been serviced in the past. I have a 2008 Daytona which runs a bit faster than my DJ 41 and Sub. I’m not sure if it needs any servicing or not. Anything else I should look for?
Included a pic for good measure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am not sure. You AD may be able to check against the serial number, I don't know. I think it is a good idea to ask for service history including paperwork to prove it when you buy a used watch.

Well it is reasonable that it may in all probability benefit from a service.
If it's keeping consistent time and power reserve is within acceptable norms then it may not hurt to let it ride as it is a few more years whilst keeping an eye on its performance to assess its suitability for servicing. In the interim, I would simply pressure test it once a year for peace of mind. |
