Batman swap + cash with daytona 116520 white dial

Hello,

I hope you can help me decide. I like the daytona and Im thinking flipping it with my 116710 batman (2018) to 116710 white dial (yr 2011). I will add around 3000 usd + my batman.

Do you think its a good swap? (assuming both watches are in good condition)

Thank you

I would not do this. I own both but feel that the GMT is a better all around watch

No, I have an 116520 black dial and an 116710 BLNR. The BLNR feels like much more watch for the money, I love a Daytona myself but as an all round watch I much prefer the GMT on just about every front.

Love my Batman, tried an older Daytona, wears differently and the complications are nothing I would use. (Along with 99% of owners I guess).

As with most posts, get the one you want , I’m sure your not but following the hype is not the way to go.

Best of luck with your decision.

I would not do it as I do not think the numbers are right. Add in a service on a 8 years old watch and you have another $1400 in the mix. You can do better if you want a Daytona for the additional money.

I would do it. Value wise it is a good deal, and I am not a fan of the BLNR. Daytona is simply on top of the line.

I’m not particularly in love with either watch, so I won’t be much help. But if you bought the GMT at MSRP, then I think that it would be a fair deal. Hopefully you’ve had a chance to see the Daytona in person, because it looks very different on the wrist than it does in photos.

♛- Yet to be determined, but a white 16520 is on the short list. (I believe that I'll be able to read it better than my old 116520)

If the 116520 was real nice unpolished full set i might do it. Try to get them down to 2k

I wouldn't do it. JMO and I have the Daytona and used to have the BLNR.

I would never part with my BLNR for anything. As for a Daytona, not even my Hamilton as I hate it!

I would not trade it for the added cash value; Not worth the premium.

I would 100% do it if it's full set and mint condition. Not a fan of BLNR.

White dial 116520 was the current white 116500 today. No brainer. Sell to acquire this collectible piece..

I do not know what else you have in your collection, but if I were to have just one watch it would still be the Daytona. Thumbs up from me.

I own both and even though it would be hard to pick one over the other, I would choose the Daytona, a classic and a must have in my collection.
