Travel GMT Diary to hand down to my kid

I started this a while ago as I take my BLNR with me on all travels and take a picture of it.

I plan on handing this watch to my first born and a diary of photos of where its been.

It also gives me a reason to explore the area as much as possible for the coolest shot i can take with the watch.

Great area! I was staying at a hotel across the bridge with a view of PNC park!

You're welcome! It would be cool if others started doing the same and posting their own photos in this thread. Ill update this as I travel more.

Thanks!

My favorite picture so far is the one of me in Oahu with the helicopter, that was a pretty special moment as I had my helicopter pilot land on a pad in the mountains so I could enjoy a cuban cigar and a beer..... was the perfect time for a photo

This is a really good idea. I'm going to do this. Now, if I could just pick which GMT I would want to do this with ;)

I have the EXP2, but would it be cooler with a CHNR or a BLRO? Hmmmm.

Pretty impressive walking around in all of those locations with a $15k watch on your wrist. Gotta hand it to you. Peru and South Africa would probably not be on my list to flash that.

Wonderful idea!

I’m originally from Pittsburgh (Sewickley) — nice to see your shot!

I just received my GMT 1 week ago ... I may have to steal your idea with this watch

Awesome idea. Why not shoot with more depth of field? He'll know what the watch looks like...this way you could also help him see the locations it's in as well!

Awesome! Be sure to post your shots on this thread. You should use the watch that you are going to hand down to your kid!

Peru felt pretty safe since i was in a big crowd with friends, i didnt flaunt it too much as i was wearing a jacket because of the weather.

South Africa was the same, cold weather and i didnt take the shot until i was at my luxury safari. I would never wander in SA, i was on plane to plane until i hit the safari reserve

I like this idea! You could even make a Medium blog about your travel and have it live on the internet for future generations to discover.

Oldest Daughter
BLNR
Photos of travel
Fountain pen
Actual diary that I write in as often as I can

Youngest Daughter
As above except SubC instead of BLNR

Brilliant idea I’m just feeling a little pig sick thinking of the photo s I should have taken over the past few years
I’ll just have to say “and the pictures I didn’t take were amazing”
