Silly GMT Winding question. (Clockwise or Counter) 126711CHNR

Ok silly question.

My BLNR from 2017, older movement and Oyster bracelet moves ahead in time when you wind the hour hand "clock wise".

When I wind my new GMT 126711CHNR Root Beer clock wise it goes back in time.

Is this correct?? Does the new 3285 movement have you move the hour hand forward in time by turning the crown counter clockwise... or do I have an issue with my new GMT Root Beer?

Pix of the new GMT because why not...

Yes, that’s all fine. The new movements in the GMTs you have to reverse wind to go forward

^^^^+1. My BLRO is the same way. I admit it also threw me off at first as I'd gotten into the habit of turning the crown clockwise to move the time forward. Enjoy the new watch.

For more reference check http://calibercorner.com/rolex-watch...own-direction/

Although your movement is not on the list, the list proofs that there are movements which goes the other way.

Its normal.

The 12 series has the winding reversed to the previous model.

All is correct as you described it.
