Diamonds East. Opinions?
Hi gang: Being of the "Buy the Seller' school of thought I'm considering purchasing previously owned Rolex from DE and wondering if any forum members have had any experience buying from this organization.
After a fair amount of research and after almost a dozen emails speaking to them about my purchase, I have no reservations with regards to their honesty, customer service and aim to satisfy customers when shopping at their store. However, There's no better advice than hearing direct experiences from people that have actually bought something from them. And, honestly, advice from TRF members is 'money in the bank'. I'm under a little bit of a time crunch, the watch is currently unlisted on their site but will be available to the public soon so I'd prefer to give them my answer as soon as I can. Thanks in advance. Mark Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk |

I’ve bought from them twice, from Shai at DEI in Boca Raton. Solid bunch. Bought a 2007 16613. Also bought a 2008 16613. One was short a link and they sent me a link. That says it all for me.
They went the extra mile to make a deal right. The extra link was sent to me because a watch was listed as “complete” but was missing a link. (Complete is complete). I’d buy from them again.

What annoyed me most was the owner didnt deal with online sales and his son did. To me if you are going to get whacked w Ebay fees online you should consider negotiating. That said I felt as if the watches were the draw had I been buying diamonds too I would get a better deal. I dont believe what I was told so I walked. No hard feelings.

Been to their store. It’s legit. When I was there we couldn’t complete a deal because they aren’t huge on negotiating (seems to be their rep - they list near what they expect to get) and they didn’t really have what I wanted in a full set with all of paperwork at that point. But, if you are close to to a deal you are happy with on a watch you like, I can vouch that it’s a nice store with a ton of excellent watches. Sales staff is knowledgeable. They aren’t the kind of place that would sell a fake or anything crazy like that. And I know they are very responsive/good customer service.

Thanks gents. Hopefully I'll be posting an 'Incoming' in a few days. Advice from TRF is invaluable to me
Oh, and the watch in question? It's a replacement for a piece I had to sell during a financial crisis. The bitter irony is I sold it in a panic, but it turned out it wasn't necessary. Best, Mark Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk |
