Rolex DJ 2 Cyclops Mag Issue

Hi Everyone
Sorry to bring up an old issue.
My DJ 2 was purchased in 2016. I wore it with great pride until recently someone said the mag looks too small. So I came on here and did lots of searching and reading. My understanding is there was some issues around 2015 with Under Mag Cyclops on lots of watches.

So off I went to RSC. Gave the watch in. Got a call from technician today who said he had heard of this but the issue is that all the replacement crystals he had in stock were all with 1.8 mag cyclops (which mine already has). He mentioned rolex stopped making cystals for DJ 2 with 2.5x mag from his understanding. Anyway he offered to email Rolex in Geneva to see what they say.

But I wanted to ask for your thoughts or if anyone has gone through the same with their Rolex DJ 2. Im sorry I can't provide photos as the watch is in with RSC as we speak.
