Rolex 126660 on 7.5” wrist

I purchased a new 126660 and with all the links installed (6 and 5 if I’m not mistaken) it fits well, however, about mid day it starts feeling pretty snug, even with the glidelock fully extended (only way I can wear it).

I also have the fliplock extension but that just doesn’t sit right and it’s far too long for daily wear.

Do I simply need to find another link? Is that my only option here? If so, does anyone happen to have a serial/part number I can look up?

Thank you,
~Pat

Sounds like you need another link and then you’ll be able to center the glidelock. You can put one up from a local AD, they will need to order it but it should cost more than $60-70.

So you have had the divers extension removed?

I have a 126660 and didn't notice any appreciable difference in comfort with the link removed to be honest. It's such a comfortable watch even with the extension - as long as it's not too tight as you are finding.

Assuming you have removed the extension I would consider putting it back on and just trying it for awhile to see if you get used to it without having to track down an extra link.

I have a 7.25 inch wrist and I am getting a good fit with one link removed and the divers extension still on.

Ok, that’s what I figured.

Yes, the divers extension is removed. I didn’t really like how it looked and with relatively round wrists it isn’t very comfortable either. I put it back on yesterday to see if I could make it work and could immediately tell it was there.

My glidelock is on, and is completely hidden along with 2 extra links with 8 and 6.

Thank you,

Hi Pat - my wrist is 7.5”, and my Glidelock is nearly all the way out when it’s hot with 5 links on 6 o’clock side and 5-1/2 links on 12 o’clock side. I have room to let it out two 2mm (4mm room before being fully let out), which is comfortable.

Maybe your wrist is over 7.5”?

Just noticed how dirty my watch is getting. It needs a good cleaning!
