116610LV for DaytonaC?

I have owned my SubC lv for a a little less than a year now, and I’m in love with it as I was since day 1. However, I had also seen the white dial Daytona and am an equally big fan.

My coworker has offered his Daytona for my hulk plus 9k cash. Considering I got my hulk at MSRP, it doesn’t seem like a bad deal.

I just want to hear from Daytona and hulk owners about their thoughts on this trade, and if they have regretted letting go of the hulk?

I appreciate any feedback.

Here’s a picture of my coworker’s Daytona and my hulk.

If you love your LV and you love the DaytonaC equally, I don’t see the logic in putting in an extra 9K. Only worth it if you love the Daytona 9K more!!

Ive owned both- sold my Hulk (miss it tho) and id NEVER sell my WhiteTona! The 9k is pretty reasonable. The C looks like it has some miles on it

Have both and still like hulk a little bit more than the Daytona C white dial.

Follow your heart or get both!

I would do it, as I don't like the green. But what I think is moot. I WILL say that I have made trades that were financially suspect to say the least, but they got me where I want to be, in PM. If you get to that place you will be happy, but if you are not sure what you want, then....maybe now's not the time.

Hope that makes sense.

Look at the shape of you LV and look at the watch you want to trade for. Not even close. If they were in equal condition the trade would be a no brainer but the Daytona looks beat up in the picture, could be the lighting would need to see more pictures. On just a pure money play you are getting the 500 under market.

How much do you love the 500 more than the LV?

hey, no offence but that daytona is a fake. Observe the dial and bezel carefully , there are some very obvious tell tale indicator. Otherwise , go youtube look for the most recent comparison of fake 500c by watchfinder.

Hey, it’s a fake 500c. Look carefully at the dial and bezel, if ya unsure, compare it on the latest video by watchfinder on fake 500c.

No brainer if the Daytona is full set.
Get it sent to an RSC and it will come back brand new

Order a Daytona from an AD and for $3400 more you could have both.

Effectively, two Subs for one used Daytona?

No way (for me).

For 3k more, buy new from an AD and keep a watch you like.

I wouldn’t focus as much on that you got your hulk for msrp but factor in market price for both and compare that way. 9k additional sounds pretty good depending on the condition of the Daytona, though it looks like your hulk is in better shape.

That Daytona looks well beaten up. I wouldn’t do the trade especially for an extra 9k.

Don't do this trade! Keep your LV. It will take the test of time much better than the white Daytona C.

As has been said, that Daytona is counterfeit. Look at the fat border on the subdials and also the serif on the "R" of "UNITS PER HOUR".

Interested to know what this will do for coworker relations.

I appreciate the feedback guys. There appears to be issues with regards to the Daytona’s authenticity. Looks like I’ll stick to my sub.

Thanks again!!

Good price for the Daytona given today's market value but take into consideration you'd be paying double what you paid for your LVC.
I'd stay put. The LV is a great watch which you still love.

Hey all,
Don't usually get involved, but that Daytona is 100% a replica.

Don't let the owner tell you otherwise and show you the movement working, they've replicated the movement 1:1.

Main tells are the serif on the "R" for "UNITS PER HOUR", the weak colour on the bezel markings and the "DAYTONA" font being pinky and poor quality. There are others, but I don't need to go into them as we don't like discussing replica's.

No deal. The Daytona-C is suspect for being real and if it is, it looks like it is in poor condition.

I think a top up of 8k will be fine. 9k might be a little too much.

Fake, dodgy bezel as been said, your friend might not know, letting you take or giving you such a close up pic.

If you want to trade it go to your AD and tell them you want to trade it for a Daytona. Let them give you MSRP for your hulk so they can make a fat profit on it and you only pay a couple grand difference for a new watch rather than $9k for a scratched one. I bet they’d find on reasonably fast if you’re trading a hard to find watch to begin with.
