If you're lusting after it with a passion, then yes. Otherwise no.

Subjective to everyone's taste and collection. IMHO if you have to ask, it's probably a sign to not buy.

Have they got one in stock ready to go?
I like the colours of this, but can't fall in love with the conical bezel myself. |

@jbnjbn: be aware you dont get the full 22% back.
The price shown is already including the VAT. So you have to divide the price by 1,22 and the result x 0,22. So you wil get back approx 18% (minus the charges from global blue) |

The question you should be asking is;
Would I buy this watch if I was at home and the watch was in my local AD's window and it was at full price? If you can answer yes to this question then you have the opportunity to buy this watch at a discounted price, spend your money and enjoy the watch. However, if the answer to the question is no then you are buying simply because the watch is there and it is cheap, so I wouldn't buy it. |

Your only concern should be the amount of wrist time on your own wrist, and not other peoples.

If you like it, buy it. If you want it, buy it. If you don't, don't. If you can't say for certain, don't. If you're considering it for no other reason than they have one in stock, don't.
Are you buying the watch or the discount? Are you highly confident that you will arrive home with the discount intact after you have cleared inbound Customs? I think that you have probably already answered your question when you posted here. If you have to ask.... |

Not my favorite as the dial is one I have never warmed up too. It seems like it is about the deal and there are money amounts on some watches that could make me a buyer, just not this one. If you like it though, go for it.

Would not be "worth" it to me, I would not want to wear that watch.

If it sings to you get it. If not don't. I buddy of mine got one, loved it from the start, and wears it as his daily.

Should I buy the airking??!!

If this is your one and only or finances are tight — since you had to ask for validation — probably not. Use those funds towards something you really want. If you’re a watch enthusiast that buys - enjoys - flips for something new then yes — sounds like a good opportunity to buy at good price and create a unique Rolex experience. Because the price is pretty good, you should be whole/close to whole when you flip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, I totally love mine. How could you not love that interesting dial. IMO this one will be a collectible in the future. The gray market is already showing that by selling them for over list price.

Nope, it’s about it being different from the old fashioned conservative Rolex. Do you really know why the new dial design was made the way it is? There is a reason. Do some research. Hear is a hint..

That is a fantastic picture...... One picture expresses what the Air King stands for and what the heritage is of this phenomenal Rolex type ......"the Instrument Watch" This is a reel tool watch... This is a Rolex in its true environment..... |

If it speaks to you then go for it! I personally have had a soft spot for the new Air King. Just quirky enough to be different with the green print. The real question is will you wear it?

Under 5k does seem like quite a deal. You can use it to trade towards something else if you don’t like it.

The AK actually look damn cool with PVD. The yellow crown and green hand make a good contrast.

Thanks to those for your constructive/informative comments!
Given the incredible information shared here I am sitting in the AD buying it as I write this. Seems like an important/different piece of the Rolex lineup that speaks to me. Will hopefully pass it down to my son in a few years! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
