Seiko Alpinist Issue? Weird Noise.
Just got my favourite seiko ever made, the green alpinst. Its truly an amazing watch! Just a quick issue: When I shake the watch, It makes a sound like the rotor is loose. Is that normal?

Used or New?
Send it back if it bothers you. Although it could be a characteristic of this model. |

I've got a Sarb035. When I shake it, there is a little bit of a "clicking" sound from the rotor. Is that similar to what you're hearing?

The 6R15 movement is known for it's ''rattling'' sounding rotor as well as accuracy discrepancies. I have the movement in two of my watches (Seiko Sumo SBDC033 and the Seiko Alpinist SARB017) and both have the sound your asking about.
