Please. For the love of mankind. No more “I have a scratch” threads.

Thought I would give it a try.

These threads never work and are arguably worse than the subject threads themselves.

Agreed.

Let’s try to stop a thread we hate, by starting a thread where we all talk about the thread we hate! .

What about posting about a Rolex itch that I need to scratch?

An itch I can't scratch because of the Rolex shortage!

Why?

What topics regarding Rolex would you prefer to discuss?

Why didn't you start a thread about what you really want to comment about, rather than what you DON'T like seeing?

Does this extend to an itch that I wish to scratch?

Because I didn’t get your memo stating your requirements.

I am curious though, is there an easy way to remove a scratch from a brushed surface?

I wanted to start a thread moments ago in regards to my watch touching the kebab on my plate. My bezel is covered in fatty oils, what do I do????? I'm running around the food court like a headless chook.

I keep a small travel vial of dawn dish soap on my person at all times in the event of catastrophe and I notice some finger print smudges that necessitate Rolex bath time. I’m sure the same would work for Kebab oils!!

passive aggressive much? Just call out the thread that you don’t like! If its mine, great!!! Otherwise, who cares? It’s a public forum to talk about your “pride and joy” at some level :)

Let’s all chat about our hobby/pride and joy/hate for things/whatever :)

The real question is: "Is it safe to travel with my Rolex if it is scratched?"

Actually there´s a very easy solution to this: Simply add more scratches and you won´t notice the first one anymore.

I vote any thread containing the word batgirl as worse than scratch threads

I can see why new owners get so distressed about their first scratch.

For those with scratch OCD, someone start a threat with pics of the most beat up, scratched, used up Rolexes.

BTW, the little dawn bottle quote is very funny.

There should be more threads about people's dislike of threads about threads that people dislike. I'd start one but I have a life.
