Incoming! First vintage. 1969 5512 :)
Picked this up today. 1 owner since 1969 just let it go today. Complete papers and box. Dial and hands original. Slightly newer bracelet. Original purchase receipt too!



Smitten as my new daily.

It was owned by a high up military official he purchased while on tour so it's seen the world but what I could find out he purchased the watch when he became head of a military unit.

The watch will see Kenya next week :)

Gotta love a 5512. Though, and not to take anything away from it, it’s a shame the insert was replaced. Any thoughts on replacing it with a period correct one?

European Watch Co in Boston I stop by ever few weeks and view their app. Happened to walk in at 10AM was looking at a 5513 but got talking and heard it was for a celebration and pulled out the 5512 back which came in that morning !!
