1999 Rolex Explorer 14270 Rare SWISS Only Box and Papers

Hi TRF,
I’ve got a Rolex Explorer ref 14270 with box and warranty paper. It has an A4 serial, and the coveted, collectible SWISS only dial which was when Rolex made the transition from tritium to luminova. The watch was purchased from The Hour Glass in Singapore in 2000. I’m the third owner of the watch, and purchased this from my friend who was looking to upgrade.

The watch is in absolutely fantastic condition, save for very light minimal scratches. However, there are 3 small bites on the edge of the crystal right around the 10, 12, and 14 min track. Luckily it’s on the edge of the crystal, and nowhere near to distort the dial. The bracelet has minimal stretch, and it has a thick, raised crown. 558B Solid end links and 78790 bracelet with a total of 13 links (I removed 3 links, which are in a bag.)

The watch was just serviced in July 2019.
