Yacht Master 116622

I've wanted one of these for a long time. The early, original platinum dials are a beautiful watch and what hooked me. When the blue dial model was introduced with the red second hand and YACHT-MASTER text, I was blown away. It's a six digit model that IMO perfect size and proportions. The 3135 is a proven workhorse. It's super comfortable and the blue dial pops in the sunlight. The platinum bezel is unique in it's own way. I've been wearing it for a month and I'm a happy guy

Superb watch for sure. I bought my five digits 16622 and love the platinum dial and engraved bezel. Really cool watch.

i think it is one of the most undervalued watches in the line up. I think the fit is comfortable, the look is classy, and these are pretty rare to see in the wild. I am glad you love it, because it looks freaking great on your wrist!

Really beautiful!! How’s the weight compared to a subC? Does the watch wear bigger or smaller? Thanks in advance!

The weight difference is amazing. It disappears on the wrist. A lot has to do with the case being curved and not having sharp edges. It wears more like a 5 digit

I also think the blue dial version is rather amazing. Did you read my blog of 16622?

You'd like to try it in natural light with a halogen light and see how the dial turn gray. Congrats, my first dream Rolex when I was younger.

16622 is a really a perfect sized watch that can still be picked up pre-owned, at a very good price

I'd like to purchase this model as well. I'm waiting to see what kind of changes they do for 2020. How does it fit on the wrist size wise? I have small wrists.

I just got one as well and love it. The bezel is more understated than the ceramic bezel of my sub so despite the sunburst dial, feels more low key than the sub. The hardest part of trying to figure out a rotation that’s fair to both of them lol

Yacht Master 116622

Completely agree and I also find it to be an absolutely fantastic watch. I love it.

It completely disappears on the wrist but also has massive wrist presence. Visually larger than you’d ever expect.

The blue dial is nothing but candy to the eyes. You can literally stare at it for hours. And be completely re-entertained when you get it into sunlight. The dial is also a chameleon... it can go from a baby blue to black and every shade in between throughout the day.

And the case, is absolutely gorgeous and so appealing to look at. It’s so classy like a DJ or Daytona but has this elegance of sport with that insanely appealing platinum dial.

The YM in all variations is without a doubt Rolex’s best kept secret.
