1996 Rolex 16700 GMT | Near NOS + Amazing Patina
T Serial (1996) Rolex Pepsi 16700 GMT Master
Having sat tucked away for a quarter century this 1996 Rolex 16700 GMT Master is the type of watch we dream about here at Fog City Vintage. In addition to being in like NOS condition the patina this watch has taken on is unlike like anything we’ve ever seen. In short this watch is the complete package. Details Case: Never polished in any way case is absolutely mint. sticker remains on caseback, and is a great indicator of who little this watch has been worn. Dial/Insert: Remarkable! In addition to the lume taking on a beautiful and matching sand color patina the texture the dial is what really makes this watch stand out. Head on the texture goes unnoticed but flip your wrist a little bit and watch her shine. Reminds us a lot of the gilt-gloss dials of the 1960s. Watch fitted with stunning, and correct serif Pepsi insert, that has faded to a beautiful peach and indigo combo. Bracelet: Crisp as can be 93150 (a fairly uncommon option in the mid 90s) with 11 links total. From the moment we saw this watch we were mesmerized by its beauty. Not only is this once of the nicest examples on the market it has character in all of the right places. You could look a very long time before finding once nicer than this. Price: $12,250 Shipped.
