Go with a trusted seller or private owner. Too bad you cant trust so many dealers now, as mentioned..I just found a spot on Sub 14060 from a private seller on Chrono/24 They're out there, just be cautious. Buy the seller as always..

I went to Gold and Silver Pawn in Las Vegas (Pawn Stars) about a month ago... They normally have a display case of ONLY Rolex; on this trip, they had ZERO Rolex watches! I've never seen that before...not even remotely close.

Reference Govberg, I have bought from them with confidence for over thirty years. From Pateks, AP’s, Rolex and Seiko never a problem, have found them totally upfront about the condition of the item. I’m always a little skeptical of criticism of a jeweler who’s been in business for over 100 years and an AD for Patek, AP, Rolex, Seiko to name just a few. This criticism seems to stem from their not having some models in stock. Blame Rolex not people who are their ADs.

Becker time has been doing that nonsense for years. Almost all of their “refinished” watches have aftermarket bracelets.

I’ve bought pre-owned from Govberg- aka Watchbox - several times, including a 14060M. They have been as great as the other well-known trusted sellers we know, albeit prob more expensive overall. The post by ThatExplorer is out of line and probably libelous IMO unless he/she has conclusive evidence to support his/her claim.
