Just a thought

Hey everyone,

I personally have a black dial non-GV Milgauss and I love it. I like everything about it but hoping it has a GV green sapphire crystal. ( I didn’t choose the GV because I am not a fan of the 3,6,9 orange lume. I feel like that makes the dial too busy. It is still a great watch! Just my honest opinion)

I recently found out the green crystal is about $600 and I’m ok with the price. I am just wondering if it is possible that RSC will let me replaced it with the green sapphire?

Just a thought...Never seen anyone done it, so I guess not?

RSC will not do it. Easy to find a qualified watchmaker that will for less money. Go for it.

Thank you for your response. I also heard that the original green glass from Rolex is really hard to source. So I’m not sure independent watchmaker can do it. I do not want non Rolex parts..

I had the same Milgauss and thought of doing the same. I sourced new oem green crystals but found them to be more in the 1k+ price range, had to pass.

As long as It didn't obscure that pretty matte dial. I loved that and the outer markers. In the end the Zblue got to me.
