That's Incredible. At all times he knows exactly what to do with the car, no guess work at all! And this happened the year I was born! kind of cool I suppose :-D

Ari Vatanen is a legend in my books !

He is one of the best.

Keep in mind that when that guy was racing there were no stability programs, double clutch gearboxes, traction control software, electronic differentials, magnetic suspensions etc.

It was just you and the car

To right Frostie. All these electronic aids and front wheel drive. Forget it. Give me a rear wheel drive 1960/'s or 1970's no frills car and a bit of snow and mud and watch the smile appear. Oh joy and the memories

A friend of mine had an purple(Aconite was the official colour) MGB). There were not many made and he had the only one for miles. The pub we used had a humungous car park and we used to do doughnuts on it- or what passed as them with a rear wheel drive!

The gaffer used to say 'was that you on the carpark' knowing full well it was. No, we would say, knowing full well he knew

Oh the memories
