My AD is offering me either black sub with date or the date just 41 with blue face.
Which one should I take? Sub looks more popular than the date just ,but the blue face looks really unique and neat.

I would go with the Sub. The blue DJ is rare now but IMO it's still more common than a Sub and has fewer complications.

OP my advice is to get the one that you know will put a smile on your face every time you see it on your wrist. If you just get whatever is popular or “higher value” the novelty will wear off in time and you’ll just end up looking for another

Take em both, sub on oyster DJ on jubilee. But you won’t go wrong with either both will serve you well for a long time.

Usually it's get the one you want, but since it's so hard to shop in this market, get the sub now first. DJ will be easier to find later if you want to add. Also sure most dealers would be willing to do a straight swap of those two if you decide to change your mind. No lose scenario on the Sub.

These posts baffles me as we all have different preferences. Also titling it “Help” ...first world problems.

Anyway, I picked a sub from these options but honestly use your own mind and follow your gut, it’s rarely wrong.

It sounds like you don’t really want either one badly. Have you tried them on? That should give you the answer quickly. In my opinion the blue is a much better looking watch.

Get the one that fits your lifestyle and you see yourself wearing more. I recently was in a situation similar to yours, and made the wrong decision. Both awesome watches, good luck

Just cannot understand these types of posts surely anyone with common sense would buy the watch they wanted to own and wear.Or are you one of the many today that seems to be influence by what the internet deems to be popular, and buys just because the net says its popular.

Back in 2017 I bought both and gave the DJ to my wife. Big discount discount though. Different times. To me, the sub ain’t a sub without the date.

I have to second the "neither" vote. If these were just sitting in the case, my guess you would pass them up all day long. No real interest suggested in your post.

BTW, both of these together would make a super two watch collection to last a lifetime.
