Weak Willed

Its now 4 weeks since I sent the Sub to the RSC

Ive resisted temptation to buy another watch wearing just a Gshock

Well yesterday browsing ebay saw this local to me the deal was just too good to pass up.

Picked it up this morning

New crystal ordered and on the fence whether to get a new dial or not

Nice catch! I would leave the dial as is....I like the natural aged and patina look.

It is a modern watch, right? So you can replace the dial if you want. Some like a clean dial, others like patina. Only you can decide where you fall. Nice pick-up, by the way.

There’s patina and there’s patina lol

This looks like more than patina to me.

Lovely watch - but wondering what happened to the dial. Do you know?

I’d replace it, if it were me.

Somebody forget to tighten down the crown in the shower? That's not patina.

It’s a really cool, watch but agree with others that a water stain and patina aren’t the same thing.

The case and lugs look very sharp but looking at the dial I think the watch probably has some water damage.

I think you did just fine. I would keep it like this if you know the movement is in good condition.

I like it how it is. In most things that people collect, I appreciate originality.
I also like those nice tall baton hour markers. Neat.

That looks to me like damage of some type on the dial. It is irregular too. I would replace the dial

Nice pickup.

I'd change the dial.

Not a fan of rusty/patina cars either.
