New to me hulk sub!

I been bugging some dealers with no luck to get a green sub, was able to get a black one, but was told these lv are hard to come by.

Found a good preowned one complete box & papers for slightly less than new msrp though, hopefully a good buy.

It’s several years old though... unplolished, has some clasp marks and was likely a daily wearer but still looks great. Had 3 of the original stickers they missed still on too!

WOW! even the oldest LV subs have asking prices over retail. You must know someone to get this great piece at such a price. Congratulations and enjoy a really cool watch.

Thanks! It might go if I get a miraculous call from an ad for a gmt or daytona one day.... but I’m not holding my breath.

Congrats but that’s kind of a suspicious price.

Not often but sometimes deals happens!

I got a no date sub for $2000 back around 2003. I got a sea dweller for 5500 recently.

But I also ate it in the shorts on some watches I sold at the wrong time. All evens out in the end!

Agreed. Why wouldnt that seller have just sold for market?

OP - I’d probably send to Rolex to get it looked at.

Congrats OP. You got a unicorn, the hulk at retail on the secondary market. Two unicorns in fact.

Where did you find it? I've been searching for a good price on a legit one and never found one even close to under MSRP. I echo the others in having it looked at. Even my 2010 G serial was significantly over MSRP.

You either bought a fake or the seller had no clue what they were selling you.

If we are talking in US dollars, MSRP is $9,050. So $12K is way over MSRP.

Yes, mine was around there. I wasn't able to find any within $2000 away from MSRP. I found one for $11,500 which was a scam. But again, where did you find this one for less than $9050, I'm really curious

Ya true. To me “way over” is like the 25k Daytona’s or 16k gmts!

I would say 30% over MSRP is pretty far from less than MSRP. The person who sold it to you essentially gave you more than $3K. Pretty good deal!

Congrats
Nice watch!

Just got mine couple weeks ago.
Still on honeymoon with my black one I got in the summer. But I keep coming to TRF to look at pics of the hulk. Keeping in the safe for awhile till the newness of the black one diminishes. So thank you for the post. Great pic!

I’m in a similar boat! I got a black one about 2 months ago and wore it maybe 3 times!

I’d be sending it straight back and questioning why on Earth it was sold for much much less than it’s market value?!?! If legit, congrats!
