Patience..or just do it...

I want to pull the trigger on the 126710 BLRO to reward myself and I’m to the point where I just want to say screw it and pay the grey price...

Wife and I are headed to Maui next week and it would be a nice piece to take with me...agh..

Prices seem to be down a little bit but I still can’t get over paying over MSRP.

Tough call, So $10k at an AD if you wait
Vs grey price.....Try a wanted add on the forum or call Bobs and see if they will take less than listed.
I got A BLRO a few weeks ago, thought about selling another watch I had; while on the phone they commented the had enough of them now and not buying BLRO's...

Enjoy your vacation and time with your wife. That's more important. Wear a G-Shock and have a blast. It's not about the watch.

I just got my BLRO 2 weeks ago, after only having to wait a total of 2 weeks--and I love it. I paid retail, but as much as I love it, I don't feel like it's worth double retail... Just sayin'...

Take the Daytona with you!

Prices are obscene, in my opinion. I would never pay that much above retail.

It comes down to if the cost above retail is worth the wait and time spent wanting instead of having.

I think retail makes sense and to just wait.

I will likely take my 116610 with me and my 16710.

Do what makes you happy.

It's only money.

In your lifetime you'll make many thousands and perhaps millions more.

Who really care what you pay as long as you can afford it.

You will love Maui, I think it’s the perfect watch for that trip. Great color and the gmt is priceless. Funny someone mentioned take the Daytona...that was the watch I took, better choice is a gmt. Go for it. Enjoy

This will be our 3rd time to Maui in 4 years, we LOVE going in October. I tried on a 116719 when we were there in 2017...I was a little tipsy and had I been any more drunk I likely would have bought it.

I'd never pay the kind of premium they are charging, but it's your money and if you feel throwing away a few thousands you may just do it...

If I were you, I'd buy a 116719 if you were leaning towards the grey market. Will cost a tiny bit more, but will be a grail watch forever since it had such a short production run. You can look at it as an investment or you can look at it as you owning a historical timepiece that only fellow hobbyist would appreciate. Either way I don't think you can go wrong here.

LOL if you really need to reward yourself, then do what makes you feel good.

Me personally, I'd never pay that premium. I'd be kicking myself later and would likely never enjoy the watch.

I have often thought about stepping up to the 116719....trust me.

Agree, I can afford it but I would likely be disappointed for spending the premium.

I was just looking to reward myself for some hard work recently.

I’ve honestly done it both ways! Certain pieces I waited for and others I bit the bullet from grey, thinking life is short and there’s a price for my enjoyment of the watch for longer!

Only you (and your financial status) can answer that question but I’ve done it where I went grey then my AD called 6 months later with the same piece, I came out even at the end!! But got 6 more months of enjoying the watch!

I am in the same boat as you; waiting and wanting. No matter how badly I would like to have a BLRO, I simply refuse to contribute to the madness of the grey market by paying such a premium when I am confident I will get "the call" sooner or later from my AD. I'm looking at it as an exercise in patience

It's just money. If you are even considering this then your financial house is in order... We overpay for almost everything we buy these days anyways...

I do and immediately when it's on the wrist the money is forgotten.
Certainly I don't understand the SJW's trying to weed out the greys and wait and wait and than some more
Life is too short not to enjoy to the max right now.

I'll be in Maui for the 4th time in 2020 and 5th time in 2021.

Absolute best place to rock an amazing watch like the BLRO

If you are in a position to go grey I'd say do it and start creating memories with the watch and enjoying it now! Life is short and we never know what may happen tomorrow

If you care so much about watches you will regret paying $17k now and see them at $14.5k in two months... I think it would ruin your experience... at least i would see it that way.

there are ~250 BLRO's only in chrono24... there is a massive glut!... prices are coming down baby!!!

Life is short; If you can afford it.. Buy the watch. If you are really self-conscious about not paying a dime over MSRP; Your wait will only be worth it because of the principal. A lot can change over your wait time at an AD. Good luck!
