Hello, first time
Hello people of this forum, it's my first time posting here and i just need some help from fellow watch enthusiasts, im looking to trade watches with someone who is going to give me a Rolex in return. this would be my first piece so it makes me a bit excited, but i just wanted some people with keen Rolex eyes to help me see if there's anything suspicious. the watch in question is a 1966 Rolex ref. 6694. i tried to post a link with pictures but it won't let me so i guess ill just ask if theres any giveaways that its not the real deal? thank you all

Is there anything that makes you suspicious about it?

Well my causes for concern here are just he’s a new-ish seller online so there isn’t feedback, and like I said he pointed out the crown to wind isn’t the original one, so I don’t know if that’s a sign of a fake. He was asking for 1600 but we’re trading watching

Every single transaction I do, I get on the phone with the other party. Exchange pleasantries, chit chat, and sniff anything weird out.
I suggest you do so as well. |
