2002 Air King 14010 power reserve problem.
I just bought my first Rolex three weeks ago from Crown & Caliber and I need some help. I purchased a 2002 Air King 14010. Outwardly, it is near pristine. I've had it three weeks. When I first got it, I wound it by the crown and left it and it appeared to have a reserve of 42 hours. However, after winding it occasionally and wearing it a few times, I noticed this week it seemed to run down a lot quicker, as I found it stopped when it should have still been running. So I fully wound it and set it down and it only made it about 21 hours. Do I have a problem? Also, I know that supposedly you cant over wind a Rolex, as it has a clutch system, correct? But when I wind it by the crown, there is s point where it doesn't seem to wind any longer, as you can't wind it past a certain point, after about 30 or 40 half turns. If there is a clutch system, should it continue to be able to wind by the crown past the point where the mainspring is fully wound, or should it stop at that point as appears to do?

I had similar problem with my 2011 GMT II C. Stopped randomly a few time even when wearing. Took it to my trusted watchmaker at Piccadilly Station in London, and he fixed it for about £20. Said the barrel was too dry, so the mainspring was getting stuck. After that ran flawlessly again for couple of years before I sold it.
