My first RM! Thoughts?

Ecstatic to post my first RM purchase, have been wanting one for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. Now that I have it on my wrist, do you guys think it is too small? I am thinking of maybe stepping up the next size into a RM010 or RM029, especially as it isn't a huge price difference to the RM010. Not to mention, it is so much easier to find straps for the RM010. Would love any input?

Congrats. Looks good on you.
I personally prefer larger watches so it comes down to personal preference really.

If you'd pick a Sub or Daytona over a Deepsea or vice versa....you have you answer.

If you add a rubber strap (those with louvres), the watch will wear *significantly* larger than the crocodile strap you are using now.

Congrats!!! Best watches for the modern age

If u are worried about the 029 or the 010 being too big. Hurry the 029 will be discontinued

But if my 9 year old can wear it ... u can wear it

The RM is nice, but I'm more interested in your Goyard suitcase, tote, or whatever it is. It looks super sharp.

Thanks everyone! I think the pictures make it look bigger than it is (said that before haha), in person or from a further distance it appears a bit smaller. Below you can see the lugs really don't extend far enough to the end of my wrist. Perhaps spoiled by the size of AP.

Soooo with all of that being said, I am working on a deal to trade into a RM010 lol. Fastest i've ever trade up on a watch before.

Thank you, it is a Goyard duffle bag, it is a few seasons old but I really like it. Much more durable than the Goyard wallet that only lasted a few months before fading.

Usually with that and the Saint Laurent backpack.

The watch is the right size in my opinion, it does not need to be any larger. It looks perfect.

Way too many people wearing watches that are clearly too big for them, something I’ve been guilty of myself.

Try out the RM010 before you decide. The RM010 basically is the same watch as the RM005 ie movement and etc.. what makes the RM010 wears bigger is just the increment of the bezel width. IMHO the thinner bezel on the RM005 makes the watch looks more “technical”. Please also note that the RM005 is 100m water resistance compared to only 50m (rm10). The rm010 wears taller too ie more sporty look in general while the rm005 is more elegant and fine.

Thanks for the response. My Goyard wallet has lasted beautifully. At the GTG on the 9th (Beverly Hills) we will stop at Goyard and do some shopping. Sorry for hijacking the thread. Now back to regular programming.
