One of the little gold rings that holds the links together on my 23-year-old gold and stainless steel Jubilee bracelet wore entirely through, and a few are close. Replacing the entire bracelet for $2,675 seems wasteful - I only need to replace a few of the little gold rings. And I have spare new ones from the links that were removed so that the watch would fit my wrist.

If this were in the area where there are screws, it would be easy to do. But it is not. Is there any way to open the non-screw links so that I can pull the pin, pop in some of my spare gold rings, and spend another decade or two with my watch before I have to replace half of it?

I think you are in for a very difficult job.

I have heard of someone separating the link parts but they were almost ruined. I think you need a special tool.

I have also heard of a company who can replace the gold parts and they melt your old gold (plus add some) and recast the links.

As I understand there are no hidden screws. The links are pressed together.

I hope some other member have more and happier information for you.
