Description: 1978 Rolex 1665 sea-dweller. Excellent collectors grade 1665 with recently polished case with excellent beveling. The 1665 reference was the first dive watch to feature a helium escape valve. This allowed divers to dive to further depths and resurface without fearing their crystals popping off due to helium gasses not escaping. Excellent super dome crystal. Patina on the lume is nice and even yellow patina

Dial: Matte-Dial Small ft MK 1 dial. Small service tool mark on the “E” in “PERPETUAL”

Insert: Faded grey Fat Font Insert

Hands: Original matching hands

Case: Excellent condition case that has previously been lightly polished.
