Thanks for the link, interesting read! I don't think the radium one clocks 99.9 microsieverts... You clearly see from the image it seems to indicate .99.9
From Wikipedia : Radium dials have been shown to have dose rates near the face of in excess of 10 µSv / hr, which would deliver a dose equivalent to one days background exposure in around 20 minutes. Still, counts as radioactive ! Another good read is about the 'radium girls' back in the days. |
