Navitimer World GMT
Have any of you owned the Breitling Navitimer World GMT,with the white dial and steel bracelet? Just saw one on Ebay and I like the look of it. Would this be a good first Breitling or would you get a different Navitimer. Looking to get a good first watch.

For a long time, I had my eye on that exact watch. However, when the time came to turn cash into a timepiece, I ended up with a black version on a crocodile strap. I've worn it nearly every day for 15 years until just a few months ago. I've considered getting a panda Navitimer from time to time, but the Navitimer World is still my favorite watch. My wife gave me a Transocean Unitime Chronograph for my birthday this year, so now I alternate between the two.

It's a terrific watch. Haven't owned, but very familiar. Would be an excellent choice!

Navi world is big... like 46mm big.
Also trades at a big discount to msrp. I’d rather get a 41-42mm navitimer |

Excellent first choice, I've owned many.
Do keep in mind, they do not make a white dial Navitimer World. You are referring to the Silver Dial. It essentially looks very close to white, but it has a masculine tint to it. That's the best way I can say it. I've owned different Navitimer variants in white. I prefer the silver far more. In general, Breitling sells more silver dials than the white dials as well. This can be seen with Superocean Heritages and Chronomats. |

42mm are nice, I prefer the 46mm personally but both are great options
