FS: Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 1002 Mint Condition circa 1978
Hey all,
Up for sale today is a mint Oyster Perpetual ref 1002. I don’t use that word lightly but I rarely come across 40+ year old watches in such condition. The dial is simply flawless. The lume is puffy and has turned a beautiful custard shade and matches across the hands and dial. The case is thick, sharp and unpolished - notice the brushing on the lugs and the crispness of the engraving on the caseback. In fact, even the solid gold bezel has started to show a slightly burnished effect which occurs due to lack of exposure to the elements, likely due to sitting in a safe or a drawer for long periods of time. Like many presentation watches, I think it’s possible this one was only worn on special occasions. Service history is unknown but runs well. Highlights:
I’m asking $2050 USD net to me and will include fully insured shipping within CONUS. Other countries at cost. No trades please. For more watches, my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/analogcaliber/
