This is the quintessential reference number for the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso collection according to Tim from TheWatchBox. I would have to agree. Needing to free up some cash right now but this is one I will be buying back in the future for sure.

It keeps the Art Deco look and feel of the original while adding only tasteful upgrades to make it modern. The size is the first thing that stands out to you as modern. 48.5X30mm case size is large enough for today’s taste, while maintaining the perfect Golden Ratio. (See the comparison picture next to the classic reverso in stainless steel.)

The second thing that is really impressive about this model is it’s exhibition case back which allows you to see the rock-star calibre 976 movement. The fully in-house 976 features hacking seconds and a jumping hour hand which easily allows you to adjust the hour forwards and backwards when changing time zones or simply setting the time. This feature has a really smooth and crisp hour jump transition unlike any other jumping hour timepiece I have owned. This is my absolute favorite complication as I travel a lot for work. You can just tell the quality of this piece when winding and operating the functions. Through the exhibition case back you can see the winding mechanism in action along with the beating heart of the timepiece, the oscillating balance wheel, vibrating at a frequency of 28,800 VPH.

Just serviced and tested keeping time well within spec. Maintaining a 48 hour power reserve. The band is brand new and is super dark tobacco brown. A great buy for anyone who jumps on it.

Features:

.
Stainless 18k rose gold case, transparent back, white satin brushed and guilloché dial with black transferred numerals, hand-winding calibre 976 movement, jumping hour hand, approximately 48 hours of power reserve, alligator leather strap with double folding buckle. Water resistant to 3 ATM
