My Visit to the Panerai Boutique
Been years since I last visited the boutique in Vancouver. What a lovely store...stocked full of very shiny Panerai's.
How sad that the sales staff knew absolutely nothing about them. If Pam want to improve their sales (and image), they need to invest in their sales reps. |

I am planning on going to the boutique in Doha next month when I am on business there. Hope to have better luck with the staff. Purchasing one before I even go though as I cannot stand not having a PAM any longer.
To be fair, not sure I would buy any PAM at a boutique. Unless they gave some major discounts, which seems unlikely.

Always fun to visit the boutiques ... I did the same yesterday here in Toronto. Funny, the sales rep here is the same.

At the NYC and Dallas boutiques, the staff have always seemed very knowledgeable and very helpful particularly when it came to sourcing OEM straps. At other ADs who carry Panerai, no one ever seems to have a clue. I don't expect salesmen and women to memorize PAM numbers, but many can't even tell you if a model is a Luminor or Radiomir. To be fair, Panerai has such subtle distinctions among their models that even I confuse models from pictures alone, but there should be better training.
