Is my 14060m over-polished?

Hi All

Can any expert in TRF tell me if this one is over polished? I love the watch and the reason I got the 14060m is because the 6 digits looks too big on me. This is my first pre-owned Rolex. Any opinion shared is much appreciated. Thank you all in advance!

No..

Over-polished is deformed, not cleaned up or well worn.

Just enjoy the watch! It’s not an investment so who cares. Also this is the wrong place to ask if a watch is over polished. The polish nazis love these kinda threads!

It does appear to be heavily polished... It might have been heavily worn though before that. That being said most non watch types would never notice.

Don't know what filter you applied to your pics but it doesn't help.

Crown guards still nice, lugs can be redone by a pro to look a lot better than it is.

Looks horrible, would not wear it. I'll give you $20 as a condolence for it and dispose of it properly for you.

Aren't you glad you asked? In TRF we have:

The " No Polish" Patrol
The "Love Your Scratches" Patrol
The "Need Papers" Patrol
The "MSRP Only" Patrol
The "Rolex are Tool Watches, no TT" Patrol
......and others

Just enjoy your fine looking watch.

No, when I bought it I was not experienced with pre-owned. This is my first and only one so far.

It’s polished and in fine shape.

Enjoy it for your lifetime and pass it on.

unfortunately, the chamfers are nowhere to be found.

Fortunately, the job looks pretty symmetrical.

If it didn't bother you before you ask TRF, why does it bother you now?

Misery is a state of mind. One can change it.

Thank you very much for asking. I am simply curious and want to gain knowledge about watches, not that I am bothered. It has become a hobby of mine to learn more about watches.

It appears to be very heavily polished. Still nice though, so enjoy it, or send it some somewhere like LAWW and they can fix it up.

I don't think it's as bad as the pictures make it. Crown guards are still in decent shape but the lugs have soft edges. I bet a trip to LAWW or Rolliworks and it would look great.
