What to see

Open the picture up. You see a circle of magenta patches, one of which briefly disappears, circling around.

Stare at the central cross. With the edges of your vision observe the patches just when they disappear. With good fixation, you should see a strong greenish colour whenever the violet patch has disappeared.

When you are fixating well, after a few cycles you will actually see a rotating green spot! If your gaze is really steady, the magenta patches will disappear, leaving only a rotating green spot!

Wow. Quite a good optical illusion. I couldn't quite get rid of all the pink circles - my peripheral vision is too strong - but the green spot was very clear and there was a mixture of green and pink circles when I stared hard enough.

Perhaps Ed if I put a nice pair of breasts,instead of the cross in would increase your concentration.
