Tudor Warranty

Being a Rolex and Tudor owner, I've heard all the news of Tudor's possibly warranty changes so I figured I'd call the source directly rather than rely on conjecture. Sorry if this has been covered already.

I just called the RSC in Dallas and they did confirm the warranty changes. I was told the warranty on anything purchased prior to July 1, 2018 will remain two years. All watches purchased from July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019 will have their warranties extended 18 months for a total of 3.5 years. All Tudors purchased January 1, 2020 and after will have a 5 year warranty.

Just an FYI.

Good to know! Got mine in December 18. Glad to hear I'm covered for another year and a half past Dec 2020. Thanks for posting

Glad to see the industry is moving towards this for new watches. Would be nice if they extended the timeframes for servicing as well

Great move by Tudor. Positions them alongside Omega. I wonder if Rolex is considering upping theirs to eight like some of the Richemont brands.

Nice to have the added warranty extension. Well done, Tudor!

Thanks for sharing!

Maybe I'm reading the dates incorrectly, but doesn't this mean you barely MISSED the cut???

Same

But good move on their part. Showing that you care enough about your product that you'll stand behind it for this long is a great step for the brand.

Got my P01 one month ago and AD said everything is the same as with Rolex in terms of warranty, service etc. I guess warranty is not 5 years after all

My GMT is currently being serviced under warranty after 3 months of ownership. Good to hear I’ll have some extra coverage after I receive it back.

My Tudor GMT is June 2018 as well. It’s been warranted for the date issue, but still. Not sure how July 2018 factors in when the GMT was out and in my hands prior to July.
