2019 has been a good year for me, with two incoming to end the year!!

Last year during the hunt for my grail, I joined a group on facebook,
and in that group, I saw a post by the owner of an AD, doing allocation differently compared to other AD.

Its a family run AD that has been around for 49 years, located in Chinatown singapore, the name of the AD is Kee Hing Hung. The owner of the boutique often engage and talk with the customers directly, and he tried his best to allocate popular models to their customer, regardless of their purchase history, a very rare sight in AD nowadays especially during the current situation.

So this year during february I went down to the boutique to have a look and get to know them more, and have a look around. I met with Max and the boutique manager there named Janet, and to my surprise I got a gift of Rolex bear and a polo, even though I didnt purchase anything. I was really touched by this gesture from them

During April, we were passing through a Tudor boutique, and my wife told me that she wanted to try the BB 58, and she tried it and really liked it, and she asked if its okay for her to get this model. She has been really supportive of my watch collecting hobby, so of course I said yes immediately, and I contacted Janet and she said yes she has one available at the moment, so I reserved it immediately. My wife really liked it, and it has been her daily beater until now, really versatile indeed.

In June, I bought a datejust 36 for my sister, she initially wanted the blue dial, but I told her the white dial is more elegant and classy in my opinion for ladies, and after trying it herself she agreed with my opinion.

Lastly, during december of this year, we were invited to a private event for a movie gathering with the boutique, a really memorable event for us to meet a lot of fellow watch collectors, and changed insight with our hobby. We also managed to get a Tudor GMT for me, as well as an explorer for my wife, a really elegant watch in my opinion for ladies, funny thing was, when claiming the GST the custom officer told my wife nowadays the trend is for woman to wear big watch haha .

So yes, 2019 has been really good for me as far as Tudor and Rolex goes, and really good to finally gotten our first Tudor for me and my wife .

Shoutout to KHH in Singapore, and do give them a visit if you happen to be there, they have one of the biggest selection for both Rolex and Tudor, especially in the current climate
