Rolex for Christmas

Who gave or received a Rolex for Christmas?

If so, what was it?

Bought my wife her first Rolex. She wanted a 31 Datejust with diamonds and a pearl face.

And when talking to my AD, told him a friend just picked up a James Cameron and I was jealous. He said he had one in back that was going to another client, but if the client didn't want it, I could have it.

30 minutes later as he was getting my wife's ordered, my wife tells me that she bought that for me for Christmas.

I tried to post photos, but I guess you can't until you've had 10 posts.

My wife is the best. She doesn’t understand my passion towards timepieces, but got this for me.

Gave my fiancé a Datejust 36 on jubilee, fluted bezel silver dial. Felt much better to get her her first Rolex than for me to get “another” watch.
