Trip to Tokyo

I will go to Tokyo next week for a little trip.

Does anyone know some nice watch related places to go? Rolex, Tudor, Seiko, vintage...

Thanks!

The Ginza area has a beautiful Rolex boutique. I believe it’s run by Lexia. Around the corner you will see a building that houses the Swatch Group. There is a small GS boutique but if you’re interesting GS go to Wako.

For vintage and grey market go to Nakano Broadway. You won’t find any killer deals out there but fun to look and try things on. I take that back, you can find deals on Omega and GS but Rolex prices are higher than the US.

I think if you remove the 8% tax you'll still get a better deal.

I picked up a 116688 from Nakano a long time ago. It was that or a 5712/1A (same price; 28500 USD). That decision will forever haunt me

Try the search function, we have had 2 or 3 threads on all the purchasing places in Tokyo. My favourite is Nakano Broadway, too...

Nakano Broadway in front of Nakano station has Jack Road and Kamekichi on the second fl but in the last 2 years a plethora of niche smaller shops have opened too, all interesting. I also recommend Time in front of Shinjuku Station, seven floors of individual brands and B1 is all used all brands. Enjoy

If you’re around Ueno, Marukichiya Mizutani is a great choice for vintage and preowned. Mostly Seiko and GS but they do have some Rolex and Tudor. Address and more info in their IG.

I’m here in Tokyo now on vacation and while I unfortunately am not traveling with anyone from the WIS community and have therefore not been able to check out shops, I’ve enjoyed watch spotting and getting inspired for the next addition.
